Mauler-type blocker who displays strength, agility and flexibility. Does an excellent job of getting into the second level and laying a body on a body. Excels blocking in space and is also a strong inside run blocker—possesses the athleticism to play all three interior positions. A fast learner, according to his head coach Kevin Callahan. Calls out the pre-snap reads and makes offensive adjustments at the line of scrimmage. On this day, he showed his toughness, practicing with a broken right hand and was snapping the ball left-handed. Footwork and hand movement is a continuous work in progress. The heart and soul of the Hawks offense; team captain; four-year starter and all-conference standout. Was a New Jersey state champion wrestler in high school. Originally committed to Delaware but reconsidered after head coach KC Keeler was fired prior to his freshman season and transferred to West Virginia, where he was on a wrestling scholarship. Projects as an undrafted rookie free agent worthy of a look due to his versatility and ability to play multiple positions. Worthy of a rookie camp invite and could serve as a valuable backup in the NFL, or possibly compete for a starting job at the CFL.
