Oakland Raiders rookie offensive lineman Menelik Watson does admit that the challenge of learning every movement in a full NFL playbook can sometimes be a chore.

‘You're learning it for an extended amount of hours and some of the stuff can become repetitive, it's a challenge to stay locked in,’ he admitted.

‘Maybe when you're not up on the film and it's a different guy you have to stay focused and look at what the positive and negative things are. Just making sure you're learning from everybody good and bad.’

But despite his hard work and high draft position, the tackle does not hold any opinions of when and where he should be playing.

‘Right now my expectations [for next season] are just learn the playbook, be assignment-perfect and be ready when my name's called,’ said the humble Watson.
