PROS

  • Strong as an ox; one of the best bull-rushers in the country. Possesses an excellent swoop-over swim move. Shoots the gap with explosive quickness. A backfield disrupter.
  • Smart; absorbed the Crimson Tide playbook very quickly, according to defensive coordinator Kirby Smart.
  • Versatile nose guard/defensive end. Proved he belonged on the big stage from day one on campus. Big, athletic and tremendous upside.

CONS

  • Needs to play with more focus and intensity. Inconsistent performer.
  • Conditioning has been a concern to the coaching staff. Becomes non-existent on some plays.

MEDICAL

  • Has been absent from 2014 training camp practices for unknown reasons. Will update when we have more info.

NOTES

  • Five-Star HS recruit. Told teammates he was going to win the Heisman Trophy on his day of arrival
