Entering his fourth decade as a published writer, Carroll first appeared as a sports columnist in The Answer Newspaper (Las Vegas) over 35 years ago. Since then he has served as the HBCU Scouting Coordinator for Consensus Draft Services. He’ll assume that role with the NFL Draft Bible, in addition to reporting on small school prospects from all levels of football, plus penning his annual ‘All Under-Appreciated’ and ‘All-Emerging Teams.’ He has contributed to media outlets such as Pro Player Insiders, Black Sports Online and Football Reporters Online. Carroll also serves as an author, a poet, a teacher, a broadcaster and is a co-founding member of MPAACT, which exists to develop, nurture, and sustain African Centered Theatre [ACT].
