#54 | Hartford, CT | 5110 | 230 | 4.72E | 2018 | Trainer: Boundless Performance (CT)
Constantly shows up around the football due to quick reactions and understanding angles, which allows him to cover plenty of ground sideline-to-sideline. Shows the ability to fight through traffic and make the tackle; a solid tackler who does a nice job anticipating the run and clogging the gaps. Had a knack for the big play as a senior, creating three forced fumbles and recovering two. Has experience playing special teams on kickoff, kick return and punt rush units. Currently training at Boundless Performance in reparation of the NFL Draft, where he is focusing on improving his flexibility, speed and conditioning. Needs to work on increasing his waist/knee bend and be able to open up his hips more. The label scouts will place on this player will be undersized, as he lacks the prototypical height. But what he lacks in length, he makes up for in heart. When speaking to him, he is very passionate about football, loves the game and shows a high level of confidence. He comes to work every day and plays full speed every play. He’ll need to check off all the boxes during his draft season, which includes testing well, being able to show he can cover backs and tight ends during positional drills, in addition to being able to play special teams. His nose for the football, along with his demeanor and skillset will endear him to NFL coaches once he gets into a camp.
