Deondre Francois is probably one of the toughest quarterbacks in the nation after the Seminoles offensive line let him get clobbered as a redshirt freshman but he kept getting back up and he kept making plays. The kid is gifted athletically and he is a legitimate threat outside of the pocket with his quickness and skill as a runner. While Francois may lack prototype height, he comes from a pro-style offense and has not only displayed the ability to progress through his reads but also shows more than adequate arm strength to make all the next level throws. He can torque up on a ball and put in on a line but he also shows the skill/touch to drop it in the bucket and throw his man open. Deondre Francois made his share of mistakes his first season running Jimbo Fisher’s offense but also shined at times, while displaying some real arm talent along the way. He will be eligible for the draft after this season and with a successful 2017 and another big bowl win, Deondre Francois will more than likely be a very high pick in the 2018 draft should he declare.
