Serritella: Top 10 Safety Rankings (Pre-Combine)

NFL Draft Bible Founder Ric Serritella ranks the top 10 safeties for the 2018 NFL Draft heading into the scouting combine. The Seminoles Derwin James is expected to be the star of the show in Indianapolis, look for him to blow the roof off of Luca Oil Stadium, which could begin to boost him into the top ten conversation once again. This is a deep group, as all the players listed below have starter characteristics. Interestingly, last year saw the most safeties selected since the 2013 NFL Draft (23).
