Dominique Easley was one the best players on Will Muschamp's dominant Florida defense last season. The 6'2", 280lb lineman is expected to move to DT next season after playing his first three years at DE. Easley is a powerful, instinctive player with tremendous burst off the line of scrimmage. He led the Gators in sacks last season, recorded 16 tackles for loss, and showed up for big games, especially against rival Florida State.
The two-year starter brings experience and a tenacious pass-rush to an NFL defense. He goes up against SEC competition week after week, and he has improved every year under Muschamp. Easley may need to beef up a bit to play DT in the NFL, but his pass rush ability makes him a desired player among NFL scouts. If he can continue to improve this upcoming season, then Easley could find himself in the top half of the first round in the 2014 draft.
