Besides the Stanley Cup winning Bruins no team gave the Vancouver Canucks a harder time in the playoffs then last's year cup winning Blackhawks. Thankfully this offseason for Chicago will not be as painful as last summer when they had to turnover about half the roster to stay under the salary cap.

Stan Bowman worked hard during the season to lockup defenseman Brent Seabrook who would have been an unrestricted free agent this summer and then shortly after the season ended he got working on a new contract for rookie goaltender Corey Crawford. However even with those 2 locked up to go along with the core of Kane, Toews, Keith, Hossa and others there are still some hard choices to make.
