Record: 45-14 [ 1st in the West, 1st in the NBA ]

The Run Down: The Spurs continue to send shots at Father Time, and I think I speak for all NBA fans when I say it's sensational. While the core of the team in Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, and Manu Ginobili do share a common theme in being old (in NBA terms) the supporting players who are just as important have that youthful pep in their step. Players such as Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, Matt Bonner, & others have done an excellent job this season in doing their jobs according to the game plan. The team has seen success across the stat sheet being 4th in points per game (104.2), 1st in Assists per game (24.9), and 8th in points allowed (96.0). This team who most believe to be the best in the NBA have played great basketball making them my top title chaser in the Western conference.

Team MVP: Tony Parker [ 21.1 PPG, 7.6 APG, 3.1 RPG, 24.60 PER ] is playing on another level this season. One I don't think we've seen from the all-star point guard. Due to his sensational play Tony Parker is widely regarded as a front runner for MVP.

What to Worry About: Along with the every now and again stretch of fatigue from this team's core that isn't the only factor that can go against them. The Spurs are also in the lower half of the NBA in terms of rebounding being 24th (41.0 per game).
