Ka'Deem Carey took the Pac-12 by storm last season. After rushing for six scores as a freshman in 2011, Carey exploded for 1,929 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2012. He also chipped in 36 catches for 303 yards and a score. Carey earned consensus All-American and First Team All-Pac-12 honors, led the nation in rushing, and rewrote the school record book last season. Carey enters this season as the best tailback in the conference and one of the best in the nation.

Carey has a special blend of speed and strength. He can slide his way through the tackles and earn some tough yards, but he can take it to the house from anywhere on the field. He also has ideal size, 5'10", 196lbs, to be an every down back in the NFL. The one thing he must prove is that last season was no fluke. If he can have the same sort of production in 2013, he can catapult himself to the top of his position rankings.
