Many people will tell you that the fullback is a dying breed in the NFL but there will always be need for coaches who run a traditional style of offense. After zero fullbacks were taken in the 2015 NFL Draft, there were three fullbacks selected in each of the past two drafts. Half the teams in the league still employ a fullback, so only a handful of jobs become available each season but this year’s draft class features a handful of fullback prospects, led by Jaylen Samuels, the jack knife from North Carolina State, capable of lining up in an array of ways.
