QUARTERBACK: Lamar Jackson/Robert Griffin III/Trace McSorley
Money Invested: $5.798M | Percentage of Cap: 2.9% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: The Ravens enjoy one of the league’s best competitive advantages in having a star quarterback on his rookie contract.
RUNNING BACK: Mark Ingram/Gus Edwards/Justice Hill
Money Invested: $6.944M | Percentage of Cap: 3.5% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: Ingram has hit the 30-year old mark and we all know what that signals in terms of decline. Even though he has stayed productive, the Ravens may look to find his successor in the draft.
FULLBACK: Patrick Ricard
Money Invested: $4.633M | Percentage of Cap: 2.3% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: Not only is Ricard a valuable blocker in the league’s best rushing attack but he also provides depth along the defensive line.
WIDE RECEIVER: Marquise Brown/Willie Snead/Miles Boykin | Depth: Chris Moore/Jaleel Scott/De’Anthony Thomas/Antoine Wesley/Sean Modster
Money Invested: $12.780M | Percentage of Cap: 6.4% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: “Hollywood” Brown showed the promise of being a great compliment in the pass game but it’s hard to envision him as a true number one target. Baltimore could target another pass catcher to further the passing production of league MVP Lamar Jackson.
TIGHT END: Mark Andrews/Nick Boyle/Charles Scarff
Money Invested: $8.402M | Percentage of Cap: 4.2% | Need Level: MEDIUM
Overview: Although the Ravens still have both Andrews and Boyle, they may look to add another player who can slide into their “13” and “23” personnel packages.
OFFENSIVE TACKLE: Ronnie Stanley/Orlando Brown Jr. | Depth: Andre Smith/Will Holden
Money Invested: $15.357M | Percentage of Cap: 7.7% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: The Ravens already have their young bookends in Stanley and Brown Jr.
OFFENSIVE GUARD: Bradley Bozeman/Ben Powers | Depth: RJ Prince
Money Invested: $2.239M | Percentage of Cap: 1.1% | Need Level: URGENT
Overview: Bozeman proved that he could be a serviceable starter but there’s a gaping hole at the right guard spot.
CENTER: Matt Skura | Depth: Patrick Mekari
Money Invested: $2.811M | Percentage of Cap: 1.4% | Need Level: MEDIUM
Overview: Skura has proved to be both productive and cheap in the middle of Baltimore’s offensive line.
DEFENSIVE LINE: Derek Wolfe/Brandon Williams/Calais Campbell | Depth: Justin Ellis/Patrick Ricard/Ufomba Kamalu/Daylon Mack
Money Invested: $29.558M | Percentage of Cap: 14.9% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: Baltimore made up for the loss of Michael Pierce with the additions of Calais Campbell and Derek Wolfe. With Patrick Ricard providing depth here as well, this looks like a formidable unit.
NOTE: Ricard’s cap money is counted towards fullback, not as a defensive lineman.
EDGE RUSHER: Matthew Judon/Jaylon Ferguson/Tyus Bowser| Depth: Jihad Ward/Aaron Adeoye/Mike Onuoha
Money Invested: $20.611M | Percentage of Cap: 10.4% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: The Ravens possess good depth here but there’s no doubt they could use a higher-tier pass rusher opposite the franchise-tagged Matthew Judon.
LINEBACKER: LJ Fort/Chris Board/Otaro Alaka
Money Invested: $3.930M | Percentage of Cap: 2% | Need Level: URGENT
Overview: Yikes! The Ravens will most definitely look to address this major need in the draft.
CORNERBACK: Marlon Humphrey/Marcus Peters/Jimmy Smith/Tavon Young | Depth: Anthony Averett/Terrell Bonds/Iman Marshall
Money Invested: $32.638M | Percentage of Cap: 16.5% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: The Ravens hold a ton of valuable depth here, especially since Marcus Peters came over last season and enjoyed a massive resurgence.
SAFETY: Earl Thomas III/Chuck Clark | Depth: Anthony Levine Sr./DeShon Elliott/Jordan Richards
Money Invested: $21.033M | Percentage of Cap: 10.6% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: The Ravens were able to release Tony Jefferson due to the emergence of Chuck Clark in his absence. He and Thomas III look to build off a successful first season as a duo on the backend.
KICKER: Justin Tucker | Money Invested: $5.100M | Percentage of Cap: 2.6% | Need Level: NONE
PUNTER: Sam Koch | Money Invested: $2.150M | Percentage of Cap: 1.1% | Need Level: LOW
LONG SNAPPER: Morgan Cox/Nick Moore | Money Invested: $1.240M | Percentage of Cap: 0.6% | Need Level: LOW
