It’s another hit of the reset button, as the Browns move onto another new general manager/head coach duo in Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski. Quarterback Baker Mayfield enters a ‘prove it’ year and wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., may have already wore out his welcome at the mistake by the lake. Look for Cleveland to wheel and deal during draft weekend! Be sure to download your copy of the 2020 NFL Draft Bible, featuring 600+ scouting reports.

QUARTERBACK: Baker Mayfield/Case Keenum/Garrett Gilbert
Money Invested: $12.674M | Percentage of Cap: 6.4% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: Although Mayfield did struggle last season, the Browns believe in him and will give him at least another year to prove his worth.
RUNNING BACK: Nick Chubb/Kareem Hunt | Depth: Dontrell Hilliard/D’Ernest Johnson
Money Invested: $6.698M | Percentage of Cap: 3.4% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: This backfield duo is one of the league’s best and Chubb is under contract through 2022.
FULLBACK: Andy Janovich | Depth: Johnny Stanton
Money Invested: $1.854M | Percentage of Cap: 0.9% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: The Browns brought in Andy Janovich to play that pivotal fullback role in Kevin Stefanski’s scheme.
WIDE RECEIVER: Odell Beckham Jr./Jarvis Landry/Damion Ratley | Depth: Taywan Taylor/KhaDarel Hodge/JoJo Natson/DJ Montgomery/J’Mon Moore
Money Invested: $33.487M | Percentage of Cap: 16.9% | Need Level: MEDIUM
Overview: Beckham Jr. and Landry are obvious top-tier pass catching options but don’t be surprised to see the Browns grab a receiver on day two or three to slide in behind them.
TIGHT END: Austin Hooper/David Njoku | Depth: Stephen Carlson/Pharaoh Brown
Money Invested: $8.456M | Percentage of Cap: 4.3% | Need Level: NONE
Overview: Kevin Stefanski likes to use multiple tight end sets and the tandem of Hooper and Njoku are sure to give defenses a slurry of matchup issues.
OFFENSIVE TACKLE: Chris Hubbard/Jack Conklin | Depth: Kendall Lamm/Malcolm Pridgeon
Money Invested: $14.862M | Percentage of Cap: 7.5% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: Jack Conklin was added in free agency to patch up that right side but who is going to man Baker Mayfield’s blindside? Left tackle is a position of interest at pick No.10.
OFFENSIVE GUARD: Joel Bitonio/Wyatt Teller | Depth: Drew Forbes/Colby Gossett
Money Invested: $11.142M | Percentage of Cap: 5.6% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: Bitonio is one of the league’s best at left guard but right guard is an obvious position of need for Cleveland.
CENTER: JC Tretter | Depth: Evan Brown/Willie Wright/Lo Falemaka
Money Invested: $11.195M | Percentage of Cap: 5.6% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: Tretter is a consistent leader in the middle of that offensive line.
DEFENSIVE LINE: Larry Ogunjobi/Sheldon Richardson | Depth: Andrew Billings/Eli Ankou/Justin Zimmer/Daniel Ekuale
Money Invested: $21.795M | Percentage of Cap: 11% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: Ogunjobi and Richardson proved to be a promising duo inside and the newly-added Billings provides some added run-stuffing depth.
EDGE RUSHER: Myles Garrett/Olivier Vernon/Adrian Clayborn | Depth: Chad Thomas/Brandin Bryant/Trevon Young
Money Invested: $30.64M | Percentage of Cap: 15.5% | Need Level: MEDIUM
Overview: Myles Garrett is obviously a stud and Clayborn was added as depth but the Browns are looking for insurance on the edge in case Olivier Vernon has another disappointing year.
LINEBACKER: BJ Goodson/Mack Wilson/Tae Davis | Depth: Robert McCray/Sione Takitaki/Willie Harvey/Jermaine Grace/Porter Gustin
Money Invested: $7.518M | Percentage of Cap: 3.8% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: The Browns were willing and able to let Joe Schobert walk because of the promise shown by rookie Mack Wilson last season. BJ Goodson was added here but there’s no doubt it’s still a position of need.
CORNERBACK: Denzel Ward/Greedy Williams/Terrance Mitchell | Depth: Kevin Johnson/Donnie Lewis/Robert Jackson/Donovan Olumba/Tavierre Thomas
Money Invested: $19.324M | Percentage of Cap: 9.7% | Need Level: MEDIUM
Overview: The Browns have invested two high picks at cornerback the last two years in Ward and Williams. Former first round pick Kevin Johnson was signed to provide depth but they could look to grab another corner in the late rounds.
SAFETY: Karl Joseph/Andrew Sendejo | Depth: Sheldrick Redwine/JT Hassell/Montrel Meander
Money Invested: $6.721M | Percentage of Cap: 3.4% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: Joseph and Sendejo were signed as short-term bandaids on their backend. It’s not a matter of ‘if’ they decide to bring someone in, it’s more of ‘when’.
KICKER: Austin Seibert | Money Invested: $0.740M | Percentage of Cap: 0.4% | Need Level: HIGH
PUNTER: Jamie Gillan | Money Invested: $0.678M | Percentage of Cap: 0.3% | Need Level: LOW
LONG SNAPPER: Charley Hughlett | Money Invested: $1M | Percentage of Cap: 0.5% | Need Level: LOW
