QUARTERBACK: Daniel Jones/Colt McCoy/Alex Tanney
Money Invested: $9.185M | Percentage of Cap: 4.6% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: Daniel Jones has a long leash as far as his job security is concerned. It remains to be seen if he can take a huge step forward with the new coaching staff in year two.
RUNNING BACK: Saquon Barkley/Dion Lewis | Depth: Wayne Gallman/Jonathan Hilliman
Money Invested: $11.666M | Percentage of Cap: 5.9% | Need Level: NONE
Overview: Saquon Barkley is a generational stud and Dion Lewis was added for depth behind him.
FULLBACK: Elijhaa Penny/George Aston
Money Invested: $1.820M | Percentage of Cap: 0.9% | Need Level: MEDIUM
WIDE RECEIVER: Sterling Shepard/Golden Tate/Darius Slayton | Depth: Corey Coleman/Cody Core/Da’Mari Scott/David Sills/Reggie White Jr./Alex Bachman
Money Invested: $24.172M | Percentage of Cap: 12.2% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: The Giants have a lot of solid role players here but they’ve lacked that true number one receiver ever since they dealt away Odell Beckham Jr.
TIGHT END: Evan Engram/Levine Toilolo | Depth: Kaden Smith/Eric Tomlinson/Garrett Dickerson/CJ Conrad
Money Invested: $9.695M | Percentage of Cap: 5% | Need Level: MEDIUM
Overview: Evan Engram has shown glimpses of greatness but hasn’t always been able to stay on the field. Levine Toilolo was picked up to spell him in run packages.
OFFENSIVE TACKLE: Nate Solder/Cameron Fleming | Depth: Chad Slade
Money Invested: $23.688M | Percentage of Cap: 12% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: Nate Solder has been shaky at best since coming over from New England but they did add Cameron Fleming for depth and to possibly be their swing tackle. Their pick at No.4 could help shore this spot up.
OFFENSIVE GUARD: Will Hernandez/Kevin Zeitler | Depth: Nick Gates/Eric Smith/Nate Wozniak
Money Invested: $16.644M | Percentage of Cap: 8.4% | Need Level: LOW
Overview: This duo is one of the bright spots on the team. There are far more important needs on this football team.
CENTER: Spencer Pulley | Depth: Tanner Volson
Money Invested: $3.361M | Percentage of Cap: 1.7% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: Spencer Pulley is probably better utilized as a depth piece rather than a starting center.
DEFENSIVE LINE: Dexter Lawrence/Dalvin Tomlinson/Leonard Williams | Depth: BJ Hill/Austin Johnson/Chris Slayton/RJ McIntosh/Kevin Wilkins
Money Invested: $24.662M | Percentage of Cap: 12.4% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: Leonard Williams is playing on the tag and the Giants don’t know what they have yet in Dexter Lawrence.
EDGE RUSHER: Lorenzo Carter/Kyler Fackrell | Depth: Oshane Ximines/Chris Peace/Nate Harvey/Devante Downs
Money Invested: $8.635M | Percentage of Cap: 4.4% | Need Level: URGENT
Overview: The Giants desperately need someone to apply pressure on the quarterback. This draft lacks an elite pass rushing prospect, so they may need to settle for second-tier options.
LINEBACKER: Blake Martinez/David Mayo
Money Invested: $17.550M | Percentage of Cap: 8.9% | Need Level: MEDIUM/HIGH
Overview: Both players were brought in to bring their relentless tackling ability to a defense that desperately needed it but they’ve shown signs of inconsistency in the league and may not be long-term solutions.
CORNERBACK: James Bradberry/DeAndre Baker/Sam Beal | Depth: Corey Ballentine/Grant Haley/Derrick Baity
Money Invested: $21.589M | Percentage of Cap: 10.9% | Need Level: MEDIUM/HIGH
Overview: The Giants may elect to see how their young options here play out before they invest even more draft picks/money into the position.
SAFETY: Jabrill Peppers/Julian Love | Depth: Rashaan Gaulden/Nate Ebner/Sean Chandler/Mark McLaurin/Dravon Askew-Henry
Money Invested: $6.856M | Percentage of Cap: 3.5% | Need Level: HIGH
Overview: Julian Love played well filling in at safety late last season. If this tandem can continue to impress, then this need goes away but for now it looks like a position that can be upgraded.
KICKER: Aldrick Rosas | Money Invested: $3.259M | Percentage of Cap: 1.6% | Need Level: NONE
PUNTER: Riley Dixon/Sean Smith | Money Invested: $3.395M | Percentage of Cap: 1.7% | Need Level: MEDIUM
LONG SNAPPER: Casey Kreiter/Colin Holba/Drew Scott | Money Invested: $2M | Percentage of Cap: 1% | Need Level: LOW
