It’s a great year to need a wide receiver, which the Eagles certainly do! They could add multiple wide outs during the draft, plus reinforcements on the offensive line. On the defensive side of the ball, the secondary could use some strengthening all around. Be sure to download your copy of the 2020 NFL Draft Bible, featuring 600+ scouting reports.

QUARTERBACK: Carson Wentz/Nate Sudfeld/Kyle Lauletta

Money Invested: $21.345M | Percentage of Cap: 10.8% | Need Level: LOW

Overview: Carson Wentz is their quarterback of the future and Sudfeld was brought back to back him up.

RUNNING BACK: Miles Sanders/Boston Scott | Depth: Elijah Holyfield/Tremon Smith

Money Invested: $3.362M | Percentage of Cap: 1.7% | Need Level: MEDIUM/HIGH

Overview: The Eagles don’t need to draft top-level talent because Miles Sanders looks like a stud but there are obvious depth concerns here.

WIDE RECEIVER: Alshon Jeffery/DeSean Jackson/Greg Ward Jr. | Depth: JJ Arcega-Whiteside/Shelton Gibson/Robert Davis/Deontay Burnett/River Cracraft/Marken Michel/Marcus Green

Money Invested: $29.924M | Percentage of Cap: 15.1% | Need Level: URGENT

Overview: Philadelphia is investing way too much money here to get as little production as they’ve received, and it’s because this group can’t seem to stay healthy. There are rumors circulating that Alshon Jeffery may be released, which would make the receiver position even more of a glaring need.

TIGHT END: Zach Ertz/Dallas Goedert | Depth: Josh Perkins/Alex Ellis

Money Invested: $15.665M | Percentage of Cap: 7.9% | Need Level: LOW

Overview: The tight end position has been a bright spot for this team amidst the disappointment from the wide receiver group.

OFFENSIVE TACKLE: Andre Dillard/Lane Johnson | Depth: Jordan Mailata/Matt Pryor

Money Invested: $20.214M | Percentage of Cap: 10.2% | Need Level: LOW

Overview: Andre Dillard was selected in the first round last year so that they could comfortably move on from Jason Peters.

OFFENSIVE GUARD: Isaac Seumalo/Brandon Brooks | Depth: Iosua Opeta/Nate Herbig

Money Invested: $11.471M | Percentage of Cap: 5.8% | Need Level: MEDIUM

Overview: Isaac Seumalo has stepped in and been serviceable when given a shot but don’t be surprised if they add depth here on day two or three.

CENTER: Jason Kelce | Depth: Keegan Render

Money Invested: $8.024M | Percentage of Cap: 4% | Need Level: LOW

Overview: Kelce remains one of the league’s best centers.

DEFENSIVE LINE: Fletcher Cox/Javon Hargrave/Malik Jackson | Depth: Hassan Ridgeway/Bruce Hector/Albert Huggins/Anthony Rush

Money Invested: $35.068M | Percentage of Cap: 17.7% | Need Level: NONE

Overview: With the addition of Javon Hargrave in the middle, this may be the league’s best interior group.

EDGE RUSHER: Brandon Graham/Derek Barnett | Depth: Josh Sweat/Daeshon Hall/Genard Avery/Shareef Miller/Joe Ostman

Money Invested: $14.265M | Percentage of Cap: 7.2% | Need Level: MEDIUM/HIGH

Overview: Brandon Graham did re-sign but he’s getting older and Derek Barnett has been solid but not great. A good rotational pass rusher could be added to upgrade this group.

LINEBACKER: Nate Gerry/Jatavis Brown/Duke Riley | Depth: Alex Singleton/TJ Edwards

Money Invested: $4.137M | Percentage of Cap: 2.1% | Need Level: URGENT

Overview: Nate Gerry is a solid role player but this position is a clear area of need.

CORNERBACK: Darius Slay/Sidney Jones/Nickell Robey-Coleman | Depth: Rasul Douglas/Crevon LeBlanc/Trevor Williams/Avonte Maddox/Craig James

Money Invested: $13.230M | Percentage of Cap: 6.7% | Need Level: MEDIUM/HIGH

Overview: The Eagles addressed a major need in free agency by trading for star cornerback Darius Slay but the group behind him has been inconsistent.

SAFETY: Rodney McLeod/Jalen Mills/Will Parks | Depth: Johnathan Ford/Marcus Epps

Money Invested: $8.634M | Percentage of Cap: 4.4% | Need Level: MEDIUM

Overview: Jalen Mills was resigned to convert to safety and Will Parks was added to compete with him for playing time. The Eagles will likely elect to see how this group fares before investing more into the position.

KICKER: Jake Elliott | Money Invested: $2.629M | Percentage of Cap: 1.3% | Need Level: LOW

PUNTER: Cameron Johnston | Money Invested: $0.750M | Percentage of Cap: 0.4% | Need Level: MEDIUM

LONG SNAPPER: Rick Lovato | Money Invested: $1.098M | Percentage of Cap: 0.6% | Need Level: LOW
