They received solid contributions from the rookie trio of Terry McLaurin, Steve Sims Jr. and Kelvin Harmon a year ago but more is needed. Be sure to download your copy of the 2020 NFL Draft Bible, featuring 600+ scouting reports.

QUARTERBACK: Dwayne Haskins/Alex Smith/Kyle Allen

Money Invested: $25.352M | Percentage of Cap: 12.8% | Need Level: MEDIUM

Overview: Dwayne Haskins will get at least this upcoming season to prove that he can be their guy.

RUNNING BACK: Derrius Guice/Adrian Peterson | Depth: JD McKissic/Peyton Barber/Bryce Love/Josh Ferguson

Money Invested: $9.137M | Percentage of Cap: 4.6% | Need Level: LOW

Overview: The Redskins still have yet to see what they have in Derrius Guice, plus they added a few depth pieces behind him and Adrian Peterson in free agency.

WIDE RECEIVER: Terry McLaurin/Steven Sims Jr./Trey Quinn | Depth: Kelvin Harmon/Cody Latimer/Cam Sims/Darvin Kidsy/Jester Weah/Emanuel Hall/Jordan Veasy

Money Invested: $7.766M | Percentage of Cap: 3.9% | Need Level: HIGH

Overview: Terry McLaurin looks like a young stud, but not sure if he has the makeup of a number one option. Besides, this teams needs options behind him anyway.

TIGHT END: Jeremy Sprinkle/Logan Thomas | Depth: Richard Rodgers/Hale Hentges/Caleb Wilson/Marcus Baugh

Money Invested: $7.583M | Percentage of Cap: 3.8% | Need Level: HIGH

Overview: The Redskins have some nice depth pieces here, but none of them are quite starting material. Look for them to add here in the early stages of the draft.

OFFENSIVE TACKLE: Trent Williams/Morgan Moses | Depth: Geron Christian/Cornelius Lucas/Timon Parris/Paul Adams

Money Invested: $27.116M | Percentage of Cap: 13.7% | Need Level: HIGH

Overview: Trent Williams remains away from the team, which means the team still has a gaping hole at the left tackle position.

OFFENSIVE GUARD: Wes Schweitzer/Brandon Scherff | Depth: Wes Martin/Jeremy Vujnovich

Money Invested: $19.089M | Percentage of Cap: 9.6% | Need Level: MEDIUM/HIGH

Overview: Wes Schweitzer was brought in to play left guard and Brandon Scherff is playing under the tag next season, so a lot of uncertainty here.

CENTER: Chase Roullier | Depth: Ross Pierschbacher

Money Invested: $2.923M | Percentage of Cap: 1.5% | Need Level: HIGH

Overview: Chase Roullier is a solid depth piece, but the Redskins could find an upgrade here.

DEFENSIVE LINE: Jonathan Allen/Da’Ron Payne/Matt Ioannidis | Depth: Tim Settle/Ryan Bee/Caleb Brantley

Money Invested: $15.799M | Percentage of Cap: 8% | Need Level: LOW

Overview: The Redskins have one of the brightest young defensive fronts in football. This is one spot they don’t need immediate help in.

EDGE RUSHER: Ryan Kerrigan/Montez Sweat | Depth: Ryan Anderson/Nate Orchard/Cameron Malveaux/Jordan Brailford

Money Invested: $18.360M | Percentage of Cap: 9.3% | Need Level: LOW

Overview: The Montez Sweat pick in the first round last year looks like it paid off, and the Redskins likely won’t go back here until day two or three at the earliest.

LINEBACKER: Thomas Davis Sr./Jon Bostic | Depth: Reuben Foster/Kevin Pierre-Louis/Shaun Dion Hamilton/Josh Harvey-Clemons/Jared Norris

Money Invested: $12.912M | Percentage of Cap: 6.5% | Need Level: MEDIUM/HIGH

Overview: The Redskins have a lot of depth here, but Thomas Davis Sr. is nearing retirement and is only a short-term option.

CORNERBACK: Kendall Fuller/Ronald Darby/Fabian Moreau | Depth: Jimmy Moreland/Greg Stroman/Danny Johnson/Simeon Thomas

Money Invested: $12.286M | Percentage of Cap: 6.2% | Need Level: MEDIUM

Overview: Kendall Fuller was brought back after being traded away aa few years ago to lead this group. Ronald Darby was signed away from the division rival Eagles to help him out.

SAFETY: Landon Collins/Sean Davis | Depth: Deshazor Everett/Troy Apke/Maurice Smith/Jeremy Reaves

Money Invested: $21.555M | Percentage of Cap: 10.9% | Need Level: MEDIUM/HIGH

Overview: Sean Davis was brought in to play alongside star Landon Collins, but I’m not sure he’s a long-term solution. They may look to add a younger piece here to come in and compete.

KICKER: Dustin Hopkins Money Invested: $3.300M | Percentage of Cap: 1.7% | Need Level: MEDIUM

PUNTER: Tress Way Money Invested: $2.600M | Percentage of Cap: 1.3% | Need Level: LOW

LONG SNAPPER: Nick Sundberg Money Invested: $1.203M | Percentage of Cap: 0.6% | Need Level: LOW
