If there was ever an NFL Draft Bible Hall of Fame inductee, it would begin with Aki ‘Euro’ Jones. After earning a starting spot on Joe Gibbs’ Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Fordham, Jones suffered a back injury, which ended his NFL career. He would go on to play in Poland, Sweden and Finland, becoming a brand ambassador of American football in Europe. After his playing days, ‘Euro’ Jones was an advocate for growing the game oversees and was involved with the NFL London office. He served as a correspondent for NFL Draft Bible, helping to put small school prospects on the map with his enlightening and energetic interviews. Aki passed away as a result of a car accident in October of 2012. At the time of his death, he was part of the Miami Dolphins staff. A native of Queens, New York, Aki ‘Euro’ Jones is gone but not forgotten, as he impacted the lives of many!
