He vastly improved his route running under while playing for head coach Don Beebe (former Bills wide receiver), sharpening his footwork getting in and out of releases, learning how to get off press and create separation. Olson is a receiving threat out of the backfield or lined up at receiver. He has also gained about 25 pounds since the start of his collegiate career, while showing increased burst. Olson recently had a solid workout at ANC Combines (June/2020), showing off his versatility  and exceptional route running, earning ‘Hot List’ recognition as one of the top performers.
