Overview: A quick-twitched wide out with shifty feet and impressive change of direction, Allen can stop on a dime; he shows great burst and acceleration. Allen has also been used effectively on end arounds, jet sweeps and has experience on all four special teams units, including experience returning punts and kicks. A feisty blocker, Allen shows toughness and is difficult to bring down after the catch; a true fighter. His greatest attribute is the ability to pick up additional yards in the open field due to his elusiveness. Allen shows a high football IQ who has a strong understanding of reading defenses and finding the open seam, along with natural instincts. He’s also been a team captain at every level and brings a high energy level, constantly uplifting his teammates. Allen played cornerback as a freshman before converting to wide receiver as a sophomore. He projects as a slot wide out at the next level. However, his vision and quickness could allow him to also play running back; he finished his career with 1,998 career all-purpose yards.
