Overview: LaMarcus Caradine was a dynamic offensive playmaker for Belhaven University, scoring multiple touchdowns from 50+ yards and averaging over 17 yards per reception his senior year. Caradine also showed a knack for finding the end zone scoring in a variety of ways including a stretch in which he scored four touchdowns in five games. His exceptional quickness and elusiveness allowed him to turn up field quickly leading to a lot of yards after the catch. Showed great ability to find softspots in zone defenses as well as win one on one matchups up and down the field and in the red zone. LaMarcus is a consistent playmaker who did the most with limited opportunities who can contribute to a team at the post college level.
Background: Son of Lawrence and Martha Caradine. Lettered with the Eupora High Eagles under Stephen Edwards as a wide receiver. Recorded 95 total tackles between his junior and senior year. Member of All-State 3rd Team as a cornerback. A four-year member of the Belhaven Football program joining the team for the 2016 season. In his career with the Blazers, Caradine has played in 29 total games helping lead the Belhaven offense from the wide receiver position. Throughout his time at Belhaven, Caradine has amassed 868 career receiving yards on 64 total receptions. He’s hauled in 11 catches for touchdowns with the Blazers including a career long 65-yard score against Southwestern during the 2019 season. Majored in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science.
