Overview: The hard-hitting, versatile Harvey has experience lining up at multiple positions and has shown that he’s going to give offensive opponents something to think about when they cross the middle, as he can lay the lumber. Playing in array of various defensive schemes, the Wisconsin native has played safety, nickelback and linebacker, in addition to contributing on special teams. Harvey was a h-back/fullback in high school before converting over to the defensive side in college. He has been utilized in the box, up high, in the slot, while showcasing the ability to play man or zone coverage. A cerebral player who is known as a certified film junkie, Harvey hits the weight room hard and possesses strong leadership intangibles, serving as a captain at every level he has played (high school, college, semi-pro). His gritty style of play, athleticism and smarts, would indicate he is best suited at strong safety or linebacker.
